MII and Universitas Pancasila Sign MoU on Educational Collaboration at Indo Defence Expo 2025
Jakarta, June 16 2025 — In an effort to strengthen the link between higher education and the logistics industry, Mats Internasional Indonesia (MII) and Universitas Pancasila signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2025 held in Jakarta.
The agreement was officially signed by MII’s CEO, Sriyono B. Soebianto, and Rector of Universitas Pancasila, Prof. Dr. Adnan Hamid, S.H., M.H., M.M. The partnership aims to promote collaboration in education, research, and human capital development in the fields of logistics and transportation.
Under the MoU, MII will offer opportunities for Universitas Pancasila students to engage in internship programs, in-company placements, and industry-based training designed to build practical skills aligned with global market needs. In addition, the two institutions will explore joint research initiatives and curriculum development to ensure graduates are prepared for real-world challenges.
“This partnership is more than ceremonial—it is a concrete step towards creating an integrated learning ecosystem. We believe that strong collaboration between academia and industry is key to producing competitive and capable talent,” said Mr. Sriyono B. Soebianto.
Prof. Dr. Adnan Hamid also welcomed the agreement, emphasizing Universitas Pancasila’s commitment to improving the quality of its academic programs and expanding professional opportunities for students. “This cooperation is a significant move toward aligning academic outputs with industry demands,” he stated.
The MoU also supports Indonesia’s broader agenda of developing a highly skilled workforce and enhancing its global competitiveness, especially in strategic sectors such as logistics, which serves as a backbone of international trade and economic development.
